An immersive installation designed to evoke excitement, wonder, and connection. Inspired by global artists who explore joy through shape, curve, and multiplicity, we wanted to incorporate these elements in Robson Square Plaza that invites you to pause, play, and simply be.

The vibrantly coloured spheres suspended in the air disrupt the linear forms of the surrounding streetscape, encouraging you to pause, look up, and acknowledge your surroundings. Spherical and colourful site furnishings mirror the spheres at ground level and welcome people to sit, look up, and enjoy the installation. Even brief encounters with new, visually distinct environments can spark small shifts in our brain chemistry, causing a lift in mood and spirit. Spherescape offers a moment of lightness in the heart of the city, whether you’re stopping to explore or just passing through. Take a seat on a dome, look up, and let the space reframe your perspective.
